The Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher program allows participants to receive rental assistance in a dwelling of their choice in Davis County. Units must pass a Housing Quality Standards inspection and rent must meet current payment standards. With over 700 property owners and managers offering homes and apartments in some of Davis County’s most desirable neighborhoods, there is an emphasis on the "choice" available to DCHA Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher program participants.
The Section 8 Moderate Rehabilitation program provides rental assistance at Lakeview Heights, which are privately-owned 3-bedroom townhouses located at 1755 South 200 East in Clearfield. To be eligible, a family must qualify for a 3-bedroom unit.
The Section 8 Substantial Rehabilitation program provides rental assistance at Rosewood Villa, which has 1, 2, 3 and 4-bedroom units that are owned and operated by DCHA. Rosewood Villa is located at 2100 North 1200 West in Layton.
